Retro flair and flavour: Serving up nostalgia at EventFest 2025

When Event Concept invited us to help celebrate their 30th birthday at EventFest 2025, we knew it wouldn’t be just any party. Hosted at The Bottle Factory, the event brought three decades of creativity to life with a bold retro theme, complete with acoustic Oasis, retro dance mats, arcade games and a secret rave room soundtracked by a live saxophonist.

We embraced the throwback brief with open arms (and open ovens), reimagining our usual presentation to suit the high-energy vibe. Our signature guacamole station was transformed into a “pimp your guac” experience with chorizo, pulled pork, beetroot cream and all the toppings. It became one of the most talked-about spots of the night.

But we didn’t stop there. From avocado cake pops presented on retro CD players, we brought nostalgic fun with a generous helping of Ripe Avocado flair.

This was more than a catering brief. It was a chance to push creative boundaries and help deliver a multisensory experience that matched the mood of the moment. We were proud to play a part in such a landmark celebration alongside an incredible team of collaborators.
