Jurassic Park at The British Museum: A Prehistoric Christmas Spectacle

For this Christmas celebration at The British Museum, guests were transported into a fully immersive Jurassic Park world - a bold, cinematic takeover of one of London’s most iconic venues.

From the instantly recognisable gyrosphere to towering, larger-than-life dinosaur installations, the space was transformed into a prehistoric playground inspired by one of motion picture history’s most iconic films. Every detail was designed to surprise and delight, with food and drink playing an integral role in the storytelling.

Interactive dessert stations and passed sweet treats became moments of theatre throughout the evening, blending nostalgia, playful references, and meticulous craftsmanship. Guests were encouraged to explore, engage, and indulge, discovering cinematic nods woven seamlessly into each experience. The result was a celebration that felt dynamic and joyful -  elevated yet unapologetically fun.

At the bar, a trio of bespoke cocktails continued the narrative, each one designed to reflect the drama and energy of the theme through flavour, presentation, and performance.

A night to remember -  immersive, imaginative, and executed with flair.

What our client said:

“We have always had an incredible experience with TRA on previous events, but our Jurassic Christmas Celebration was our best one yet!  The menu was innovative and creative, the staff warm and welcoming and the attention to detail, flavour combinations and theming hit the right note on every single level.  Looking forward to more events in 2026 with TRA and the team!”

– Lisa Guastella, Head of Commercial Hire at The British Museum

‘’This was one of those briefs where we could really let imagination lead the way. The goal was to create moments of surprise and delight around every corner, where food became part of the storytelling rather than just something you ate. From the interactive stations to the theatrical serves, everything was designed to feel playful, nostalgic, and totally immersive. Bringing Jurassic Park to life inside a venue as iconic as The British Museum was an absolute joy - and seeing guests light up as they explored the experience made it even more special.’’

– Jay Burgesson-Carter, Founder of The Ripe Avocado
