Celebrating Black History Month with Wilkie, Farr & Gallagher
Catering Willkie Farr & Gallagher’s Black History Month reception felt especially meaningful for us as a proudly Black-owned business. Hosted inside their City offices, the evening brought together clients, colleagues, artists and curators for a celebration of Black creativity and culture.
For Wilkie, Farr & Gallagher’s Black History Month celebration, guests explored guided tours led by Levi Naidu Mitchell and Tonye Ekine, paused for performances by Tyreis Holder and Othello De’Souza-Hartley, and gathered for conversation over drinks, canapés and flavour-packed bowls.
Our brief: keep service elegant, unobtrusive and in perfect rhythm with the evening’s flow. A thoughtful, energising and brilliantly curated event to be part of.
As guests arrived, drinks and canapés set the tone - warm, welcoming and full of flavour. Throughout the night, the event moved seamlessly between curator-led tours, panel discussions, and powerful performances.
We provided quiet service during talks, smooth transitions between each moment, and vibrant bowls introduced for the second and third artist-led tours.
An evening celebrating culture, community and creative excellence - one we were genuinely proud to help bring to life.

What our client said:
‘’The event went down brilliantly and we thought your food and your staff serving were excellent - thank you again.’’
‘’Every enquiry excites us, but receiving one that really resonated with who we are and what we stand for was super exciting. When the request came through our website to deliver an event celebrating Black History Month, we immediately felt a powerful connection. Not only did it honour a moment of cultural significance, but the menu included elements of our founders’ West African heritage, making the project feel both personal and hugely meaningful. Thank you Willkie and Farr for having us on such a meaningful event.’’
