Flavour, Art and Human Connection at the British Museum

ShelterBox is a UK-based disaster relief charity that specialises in emergency shelter and essential aid to families displaced by conflict or disaster.

In a quiet gathering at the British Museum, they brought together a small group of supporters to share the impact of their work and strengthen the personal connections that make their mission possible.

We were honoured to be the catering partner for this event. We served four of our favorite canapes and after speeches guests were able to enjoy the landmark exhibition Hiroshige’s Japan.

“Being able to support such a meaningful and impactful organisation on such a special evening for them to showcase their humanitarian efforts all under the roof of The British Museum is exactly why we do what we do! Serving canapes and drinks amongst aid workers that work directly in the field providing disaster relief brings a whole new meaning to what it means to cater with purpose.”

– Jay Burgesson-Carter, Founder of The Ripe Avocado
