Sales & Events Planner

Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 (DOE)
Location: London SW6
Employment Type: Full-Time (40 hrs per week)
Reports to: Head of Events

About the Role

We are recruiting a Sales and Planning manager to join our fast-growing London-based catering company, working alongside a close-knit team of 6 at our SW6 HQ.

This position offers incredible opportunities for progression within a fast-paced business, delivering a wide range of exciting events across London in partnership with premium clients and venues. You will play a key role in converting enquiries into confirmed events, managing client relationships and ensuring events are planned and delivered to the highest standards while maintaining commercial awareness with support from Head of Events.

Key Responsibilities

Working closely with the Head of Events and our Founder, the sales and planning manager will manage the end-to-end sales and planning process, from initial enquiry through to event delivery.

  • Converting incoming enquiries into confirmed bookings through proactive sales and relationship building

  • Managing key clients and acting as the main point of contact throughout the planning process

  • Working closely with kitchen and operations teams to ensure seamless event delivery

  • Producing detailed event sheets for the operations team with accuracy and clarity

  • Managing event budgets and P&Ls alongside operations and kitchen teams

  • Maintaining strong relationships with venues and external partners to support repeat business

  • Providing creative input into event concepts and catering proposals

  • Ensuring exceptional service standards, presentation, and attention to detail across all parts events

  • Delivering an outstanding client journey from enquiry through to post-event follow-up

About You

The ideal avocado will be commercially minded, organised, and passionate about events and hospitality.

  • Proven experience in a sales, events planning, or account management role within catering, hospitality or events.

  • 3 Years + previous experience in understanding of sales strategies and experience working with budgets and P&Ls

  • Confidence and professionalism in client-facing environments

  • Excellent communication skills

  • High levels of organisation with attention to detail

  • The ability to remain calm under pressure while planning multiple events simultaneously

  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
