Senior Event Operations Manager

Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 (DOE)
Location: London SW6
Employment Type: Full-Time (40 hrs per week)
Reports to: Head of Events

About the Role

Ready to step into a senior, high-impact role? We’re looking for an experienced events professional who’s commercially sharp, confident with clients, and thrives on delivering complex, high-value events. You’ll take ownership of differing bespoke events, managing large freelance teams, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring all operations are delivered to the highest standards whilst meeting commercial objectives

This is a hands-on role for someone who loves uniqueness, tight margins, creative concepts and building long-term partnerships - all while working closely with our Founder and Head of Events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the delivery of catered events, from planning through to execution, with support from a dedicated events coordinator

  • Recruit, schedule, and manage event staffing

  • Act as a senior point of contact for clients, building trusted relationships and ensuring expectations are exceeded

  • Own and manage event P&Ls, ensuring strong financial control, cost management, and profitability

  • Work closely with chefs, sales, and venue teams to ensure seamless service delivery

  • Maintain exceptional standards of service, presentation, and attention to detail across all events

  • Ensure full compliance with health & safety, food safety and licensing

About You

The ideal avocado will be commercially driven events professional with strong leadership capability and proven experience in catering or hospitality events.

  • 3 Years + experience in a senior operations or catering management role within events, hospitality, or venues

  • A natural people person with strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and inspire diverse teams (whilst having FUN!)

  • Strong commercial acumen with hands on experience managing P&Ls and budgets

  • Confident and professional in client-facing situations, with excellent communication skills

  • Exceptionally organised with outstanding attention to detail

  • Calm under pressure and able to juggle multiple events and priorities simultaneously

  • Flexible - to work evenings or weekends as required
